FAQs About Fissure's SimProject® Simulation
• I get a "File Not Found" message when I try to run SimProject®!
Vista and later editions of Windows no longer ship with a product that was once standard in Windows XP. Simply click here to get the Microsoft Agent, Peedy. Once it has installed, SimProject® should run without the error.
• How soon will I get my email after my purchase?
The email with your link should arrive in two minutes. If it takes longer than two minutes, please email us: support@fissure.com
• How much time do I have before the download link expires?
Thirty days.
• I just ordered the product and it says my download link expired! Why is that?
We require that you download from the same IP Address where the order was made. If this presents a problem, email us: support@fissure.com.
• I tried to use the email function to send you my license information, but it does not work with my email client, what do I do?
You can call us for a license key at 919.651.4438.
Or, you can open your email client and make sure that you supply us with:
- The LCode
- User Code 1
- User Code 2
- Your Order Number

• How soon will I get my license keys if I request by email?
Typically, we respond within an hour during weekday business hours. We try to answer weekend requests, but sometimes they must wait until Monday.
• Do I require an internet connection to run SimProject®?
No.
• Does SimProject® run on a Mac?
Apparently. We do not support the Mac.
• What Windows Operating System can I use?
We recommend Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista.
• Does SimProject® require my Service Packs be up to date.
Yes! In some cases we have found SimProject® is unable to be installed unless your operating system has the latest Service Packs from Windows. (Besides, it's just a good idea to keep your security updated!)
• Why am I only licensed for 120 days?
120 Days is typically more than enough time to complete the simulation in a classroom.
• My project was due yesterday, yikes! Can I get phone support?
Yes, we provide free phone support during regular business hours. 919.951.4438.
• I have a good idea or have found what I think is a bug, whom should I tell?
Email your idea or problem to support@fissure.com
• What does a SimProject® license entitle me to do?
One license entitles one student to run SimProject for 120 days. This means that, if you are a part of a team of four, four licenses are required.
Even if you install SimProject® on five machines, one for each student and a fifth for the team, you still only need four licenses.
