Dear Fissure Friends,

As this is our first newsletter I would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the general format and content. Our intent is to provide a short newsletter that informs you about our upcoming public workshops (left hand panel), new developments in project management and leadership development, what's happening at Fissure (Fissure News), and one or two articles you will hopefully find interesting, informative and most importantly - short. Please be aware that if you select a link from the newsletter to our web site, a new window is opened in your browser for the web site. When you are done on our web site close that window and you will come back to the newsletter.

I would REALLY like feedback from you on what you would like to see in this newsletter. We plan to mail the newsletter about every 6-8 weeks. Do you want a couple of interesting articles pertaining to some aspect of project management or leadership? Do you want to see some helpful hints or facts about project management or leadership? Do you just want the public schedule? Do you want survey questions where subsequent newsletters will provide the summary feedback? Do you want to know what is happening at Fissure? What else might you like to see? Reply to this email, or send an email directly to me with your input and suggestions: Jesse_Freese@Fissure.com

I invite you to read Geof Lory's article on "Who's in Charge". Geof, who is a Fissure Associate and guide, writes a regular column on project management and parenting, and I always enjoy reading how Geof connects the two. Geof's column will appear in this newsletter on a regular basis. I also encourage you to read the article on Project Management ROI and participate in our related survey. Thanks for reading and have a great day,

Jesse Freese
Fissure, President
